How we feel and operate on a mental, physical and spiritual level plays a huge role in how we experience life, and the better we feel, the better life feels.
When it comes to our health and wellbeing however, the emphasis can tend to mainly be on the physical side of things. But we have to remember that health is a holistic process and in order for us to live life to the fullest all three aspects of self must be taken care of.
Unfortunately, the stresses of modern-day life can take its toll on our health and we can be so busy rushing around trying to fit everything in that we forget to make time to properly care for ourselves.
As humans we are fairly robust, and so it’s very easy for us to take our health for granted and not realise the detrimental effects of our self-neglect until it’s too late. Our health is our true wealth and without it we either cease to exist or our experience of life is greatly reduced, which is why our wellness should always be a priority in our lives.

The core lesson of Health & Wellbeing is self-care because when we learn to care for ourselves we increase our ability to feel good and function at an optimal level.
When life is busy it can be hard to dedicate enough time to care and nurture ourselves on a regular basis. This means that we are often pushing ourselves through life whilst operating on low energy levels, which then reduces our overall wellness. However, if we were to make the time to rest and recuperate we can restore our energy to what it should be and subsequently enhance our experience of life.
