Astro Jewels: Weekly Horoscope 4th September 2023 – 10th September 2023

We enter into the week with Venus, the planet of love and relationships finally stationing direct. Venus has been retrograde since the 23rd July, although you may have been feeling the effect since late June when it first entered its pre-shadow period. 

During this time what we love and value would have been up for review, and you may have found questions around your close relationships coming up for you to consider. Venus being in Leo puts a spotlight on how much we feel appreciated. When retrograde, it is there to teach us the value of being valued. 

As Venus now moves forward in confident Leo, it invites us to also move forward with courage in our convictions to know our worth, and to let go with love, anything that makes us feel less than.   

Also on the 4th September. Mercury, the planet of ideas and communication will be forming a grounding earth trine to Jupiter, the planet of vision and expansion, opening us up to new ways of thinking and potentially invoking new insight for us to explore. There is an opportunity here for us to build upon existing plans and intentions in a very practical way, but we have to be willing to put in the work, [GoddessName]. 

A few hours later Jupiter stations retrograde, where it will now move backwards in zodiacal degrees until the 30th December 2023. During this time we will be invited to reflect on the visions we hold for our lives, and reassess what it truly means in tangible terms to live fully. 

This is a time to look at how steady the structures of our big goals are and how deliberate we are actually being towards building our dreams. Vision takes imagination, but the reality of it requires real practical steps.

There’s further support in learning what needs to be done, when the Moon enters curious Gemini on the 5th September. You may find yourself feeling a little bit restless at this time and perhaps jumping from one thing to another to find answers. Finding ways to connect with the body could help to calm an overactive mind and allow you to channel your thoughts more appropriately.

On the 6th September, the Sun and Mercury connect in the sky by conjunction, marking the halfway point of the current Mercury retrograde. This could be a powerful day for self-expression and embracing your identity with more confidence. 

Our ideas shape who we are and vice versa and you may find things that you were previously keeping hidden are now ready to come to the surface. It is also likely that you will be hit with a lot of new insight that helps you personally evolve in your purpose and potential. As we are dealing with Virgo energy, it’s important to look at this through a practical perspective which allows us to plan out the process with precision. 

Later on that day, we enter into the Last Quarter phase of the cycle. This is a time to start thinking about closing out projects, or at least winding things down for a bit, so you can create some space around what you are working towards. 

It can be hard to let go of what has already been, [GoddessName], but with the luminaries both in mutable signs, there is an opportunity here to be more adaptable with your approach so you can adjust where need be. 

The Moon enters her home sign of Cancer on the 8th September, helping us to have a more inward outlook. Allow yourself space to examine some of the foundations of your life and the intentions you have set to see how safe they really feel. Home is likely to be on your heart at this time, and with the Sun in practical Virgo, this would be a good time to look at ways you can reorganise your space and any systems you have in place. 

Later that day, the Sun will form a trine to Jupiter, creating an easy flow of energy between our creative instincts and our grand visions. It is likely that you will be feeling more optimistic about the potential for your life, with an inner confidence of knowing it is possible.

This is a good time for connecting in with your goals and again looking at how they can actually be accomplished. You might not want to take action on them yet, [GoddessName], but putting a practical plan together would be a great use of the energy here.

You may also find that on this day you have an increased sense of confidence in who you are and how your unique gifts help serve the world in which you are part of. It would be a good idea to write this down so you can tap into this energy on the days you are more doubtful.
