Astro Jewels: Weekly Horoscope 14th August 2023 – 20th August 2023

This week starts off with the Moon moving into the bold sign of Leo. During this time we are still very much in the Balsamic phase of the lunar cycle, which urges us to slow down, rest and recuperate ready for the new cycle to begin on the 16th August. Leo loves pleasure and with the Moon taking residence here, you may be feeling the need to focus on fun and the things that bring you joy. 

This would be a good time to work on passion projects or creative endeavours that fill your cup and really get your energy flowing. This is not about taking big action and making things happen per se, but more about feeling alive and in the moment. Something we don’t always allow ourselves to do, [GoddessName].

Later on that day Venus, which is also in Leo, will be forming a fire trine to Chiron in Aries, giving us the courage to either heal our relationships or heal from them. All of which is to help you stay authentic and aligned to your unique self. 

Be aware that you could also come up against some conflict from others if you appear to be going against the norm. Leo season is here to push us into our potential and we can’t fulfil what that is by simply blending in.

This is likely to be further emphasised a few hours later when the luminaries will be connecting, marking the New Moon and the new lunar cycle. When the Sun and Moon come together in a conjunction they create concentrated energy that ignites our instinctive needs and creative impulses. In Leo this is likely to be around our sense of self, our creativity, love and romance and how we experience joy and pleasure.

On the 19th of August the Moon enters the sign of Libra, increasing our need to find more peace and harmony. Especially within our relationships.
