What would having healthy and happy boundaries look and feel like in my life right now?
Journalling is the practice of writing about our thoughts, feelings, experiences and ideas and is a great way to connect to ourselves on a deeper level.
Each week we’ll be providing you with a new question, topic or idea to explore. This weeks journal prompt is:
What would having healthy and happy boundaries look and feel like in my life right now?
Healthy boundaries are an important part of creating a happy life, as they allow us to maintain a sense of balance, bliss and brilliance without feeling overwhelmed from taking on too much, or unfulfilled from taking on things that feel out of alignment.
We all have limits with what we can do or hold in our lives at any given time, yet often we can find ourselves exceeding our own personal energetic capacities. This is usually because we fear the potential fall out or discomfort that may come from enforcing a boundary, especially when it involves others.
Healthy boundaries are there to keep us safe. However, what we seek to find safety in can change over time, so it’s important to think about what boundaries we have in place to support our current needs, whether it is with other people, situations or even ourselves.
Journalling is a personal process but we’d love to hear any insights that come up for you, that you’d be willing to share.
